Saw a video of a cat playing the piano from your favorite site and immediately you know that this is the best thing ever since the invention of the internet. You decided to download it so you can show it to your friends so they can also be blessed by such an event but alas when you tried to open it you get an error from your player saying it cant open the file blah blah blah..
You can try to make it work by downloading the correct codecs from the internet but it is just too much a hassle even for this glorious video.
Try using vlc media player. Got an FLV file it will play it, it will also handle MP4, DVD's, AVI and 3GP no problem. It is very versatile and can play almost any video file you can throw at it. By the way did i mention it is also portable (copy the whole folder after install)
